There will be 5 Treasure Chest drawings Friday thru Sunday. You may donate 1 to 5 items to the Treasure Chest. They will need to be brought to the Information /Vendor Booth on Friday morning once you are setup. If you have customers and are unable get them there, please call the cell number that will be provided later and we will come to get them. We will give you a Participating Merchant Sign that you will need to post in your booth. Be sure it is very visible to the public..
They will need to be in a plastic bag that closes (we do not want to have anything fall out) or a box with a printed or clear hand written description of the item, your booth number and your business card stapled to the plastic bag or box.
When your item is pulled the MC will announce what the item is, who the vendor is, and where to find the vendor (by your vendor number). On Friday they will need to be present at the one drawing at 4:45 PM. During the first 2 drawings on Saturday, a number will be called and if the person is not right there, their name will be posted on a board by the information booth. The information booth will hold all items until the end of the day then everything will go back into the pot where names will be drawn until we find someone who is there. On Sunday there will be one drawing and winners will need to be present to win.
In handling the tickets in your booth, you would give, at least, 1 ticket for each $5.00 spent in your booth. The customer will take the tickets to the information booth, write their name on it and put it into the drawing drum. You will need to supply your own tickets (get the 1 ticket roll). Please be sure to get your tickets before you arrive since the closest place to get them is Wal-Mart in Aberdeen (20 miles away).
I want to thank you for wanting to participate. The chance to win something is always a big draw and from what I saw last year I could tell some people where definitely spending money for their chance.
Krazy Kate
This hyar festival has grown to what it is by the shear tenacity, vigilance, n insight of Karen McLellan. Karen, thank ye fer all you have done over the past five years.
We recently lost our beloved Neddie Rose. Her love of Westport and it's citizens is legendary. She will be remembered as always smiling, having a keen sense of business and every ones friend. There's nary a soul here in Westport she didn't help out in one way or another. Fair Winds and Calm Seas, Neddie Rose
"Pirates of Past"
We are extremely saddened to have lost two dear friends. Bloody Barney of the International Pirates, Seattle chapter and Thomas Long, owner and handler of Passado the parrot. Two of the finest pirates we've had the pleasure of knowing. Fair winds, calm seas and may God bless you and your families. You will be forever in our hearts.
In the first picture we 'ave one o da worst displays o "bawdrieness", a sight that makes da soul quiver n thier families scorned. Dey be "Lucky Liz", "Barbarosa" n "Honey Do". Then we 'ave one o da "Salty Dog" kontest winners. I believe this 'lil character took second place but won first in me heart! Then we 'ave da "I told you it didn't always rain in Wetport" shot. See dem dere blu skys?!!
First we have last years Jack Sparrow look a like winner Naiomi playing her fiddle, mighty fine she be at that too! Then we have Saber show'n off 'er new eye patch she got at the face paint'n booth. I git ta take credit fer da thought 'o paint'n em on, but her dad wern't none too pleased come time to wash it off.... Finishing off this trio we 'ave Scullery Maid lur'in the men in with 'er spell binding good looks! Ya gotta love a wowan like dat!
'ere we 'ave Jack Sparrow, Jack Sparrow & Jack Sparrow..... A legacy & tradition continues, Thomas Long's step son carries on with Passado.
Me can't thinks how easy we makes it fer ya, here's a link to da Chamber O Commerce so's ya kin find what yer look'n fer as in places fer grub r rest'n yer bones fer da night.
Wetport/Grayland Chamber O Commerce (yes, Wetport)

No Quarter Given
Alas, hyar's our first place winner of da "Jack Sparrow" look a like contest. A dead ringer fer sure! Then we have scalawags do'n their jig n the fearsome Int'l Pirates o Seattle invading Westport.
Here we 'ave Frogg in 'is finest Saturday attire and then an eclectic group, me thinks the British fancy pants might be in a bit of a pickle look'n who's his company be. Looks like Tide flats got 'imself a new devilishly handsome cabin boy!
Ah, pirates n their toys. If'n yer go'n to attend r festival, ya might want ta bring yer ear plugs.
Wiley Wyatt n Light Fingers Linnea take'n a load off.
There's dance'n in da streets to da tunes of the International Pirates n da Lady Washington fire'n her cannons.
Ahoy! Da Treasure Island Pirates o Seattle 'ave landed while Light Fingers n Wiley r try'n some of dat Buccaneer Corn. Wonder how much dat cost?
Harrie Karrie n Pasado, who is owned by Tom n Gail Long o Olympia. A tough decision ta be made in da kids best costume contest n then we 'ave Tide Flats da morning after a late night jam session with Frogg. Heard it was more fun than load'n da cannon with silverware!
Tide Flats n Razor Clam share a tender moment. R very own lovely Scullery Maid. Can't argue 'bout it, she keeps a tidy ship! Den we 'ave r 'ol Cap'n Pepper n Tide flats yuk'n it up during a grand performance on da street. Mouse 'ore da pic ta git Peppers grand farewell to 'yall. She set sail fer northern waters wit her hubby da ghost. Fair winds friend........
A big, wet, sloppy (no tongue) kiss goes to Lottie Dah (Faye Farmasonis) fer a lot o da pikters. Thanks schweetie! Love dem fish lips she's gots!
She's a beaut' t'aint she? I kinda caught her off guard in this hyar photo. She usually tries to make a funny face but she didn't have time. Love ya Lottie!
If ya don't mind, we'd sure be pleased if'n ya sign or leave yer mark on da ships register!
